Dabartist is a name I got from my friend who always considered me a barber and artist. So one day he started to call me Dabartist and I took it as a joke. Frequently he would call me Dabartist and one day I was looking into showing people how to cut their own hair online and I was like what should I call myself and "Dabartist" was the first name that popped into my head. The name raised alot of questions and it was catchy to people, so I went with that name.
My real name is Celestino A., I was born in New York and I was raised up in the Caribbean. I first started experimenting with cutting my hair when I was about 12 years old. I was motivated to cut my hair because I felt scared to ask my barber to do something different than what he was accustom of giving me. So I got clipper from my cousin and I started cutting my hair. The first cut I did was a low taper, I always wanted a low taper on the side with a bit a hair on my head. I was used to a bald cut with a part in my head, which I felt I was growing out of.
I got better after the years and I must say, I made many mistakes but with determination to learn something and keep doing it, you will become the best. I eventually was cutting my hair on a regular. I haven't been to the barber in about 10 years and I save a whole load of money with the little investment I made. I also made alot of money when I went college. I started cutting other peoples hair and I created a business out if, which was great while it lasted.
Right now in my life, I think it is my purpose in to help other learn to cut their own and learn the importance of self efficiency. This is important because if one learns this they will save alot of money. I also made money through my generous videos I post on youtube. I want to transform more lives across the world and show people how to take their talents and make profit from them even it it giving them away free knowledge.
